A Team Approach to Patient Care

The Gamma Knife physician team includes some of the region’s most knowledgeable and dedicated brain tumor specialists. Our center uses a team approach in which our medical experts collaborate to develop a customized treatment plan for your specific case. Team members typically include a neurosurgeon, radiation oncologist, medical physicist and a nurse. This multidisciplinary approach to care ensures that each patient receives a clinically excellent and highly individualized treatment plan.

Getting Started

Call the Gamma Knife Center at Monmouth Medical Center to begin the process of determining whether you’re a candidate for Gamma Knife treatment. We’ll talk to you about your diagnosis and insurance coverage, so it’s best to have your insurance information ready. Based on the initial conversation, we’ll schedule a personal consultation within the following days. You’ll meet with a member of our physician team and a decision will be made on whether Gamma Knife treatment is right for you.
