Dr. Mitchell Weiss

Dr. Weiss is the Chairman of Radiation Oncology at Monmouth Medical Center. He joined Monmouth in 2003 after completing his residency at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, where he served as Chief Resident in his final year. He was named Chairman of Radiation Oncology at Monmouth in 2005.

Dr. Weiss earned his medical doctorate degree from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and is board certified in radiation oncology. He has a decade of experience treating brain tumors with stereotactic radiosurgery and has extensive expertise in frame-based and frameless techniques of radiosurgery.

His research has been published in numerous journals including the Journal of Clinical Oncology, the International Journal of Radiation Oncology, Biology, Physics, and the Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Weiss’s professional affiliations include the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology, the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Brachytherapy Society.
